The reminders are not arriving
Open the iPhone Settings app, go to Notifications, find Sip and make sure Allow Notifications is switched on. Inside Sip, check that Remind me is on under Settings. Sip is also quiet at night: no reminder is sent between your bedtime and the time you get up.
Sip is not reminding me as often as I expected
With Premium, Sip spaces reminders further apart when you are ahead of your goal and closer together when you are behind. It also waits at least 45 minutes after you record a drink. Once you reach the daily goal, it stops for the day. There is more detail on how the reminders work.
I want to change my daily goal
Settings, then Daily goal. Use the two large buttons to set any amount you like. If a doctor has given you an amount to drink, use that one.
I entered the wrong amount
Open the drink sheet again and pick the amount you actually had; if you added one glass too many, the last entry can be removed from the home screen.
I bought Premium but it is not showing
Open Settings inside Sip and tap Restore a purchase. Make sure you are signed in with the same Apple Account you used to buy. A new iPhone set up by somebody else is the usual reason this happens.
How do I cancel Premium?
Subscriptions are managed by Apple, not by us. Open the iPhone Settings app, tap your name at the top, then Subscriptions, then Sip. The lifetime option is a single payment and there is nothing to cancel.
How do I get rid of the adverts?
Sip Premium removes them. In the free version a banner appears on the week and settings screens, and a full screen advert appears at most once per session after you reach your daily goal. If the advertising consent form needs changing, the settings screen has an entry for it.
Can my daughter or son see how I am doing?
Not automatically, and never without you. Sip has no accounts, and nothing you record leaves your iPhone.
Does Sip work without an internet connection?
Yes. Recording a drink, your goal and the reminders never need one. A connection is used only to buy Premium and, in the free version, to load an advert.
